Important crossplay limits
- Bungie distinguishes cross-play (playing together) from Cross Save (selecting characters across linked platforms).
- Some competitive matchmaking pools may differ for console and PC or mixed fireteams.

Does my progress transfer?
Bungie Cross Save requires choosing an active character set and linking platforms. It does not mean every purchased platform license transfers.
How to play with friends
- Confirm both players can see each other using their Bungie Names.
- Invite to a supported activity and review platform-specific matchmaking rules.
- Configure Cross Save separately if you want the same chosen character set on multiple platforms.
