Keep the major progression currencies separate and avoid spending based only on immediate appearance.

01 / 03

Understand the mechanic

Hades uses several resources with different purposes across combat and the House of Hades. Darkness supports lasting talents, Chthonic Keys unlock certain options, Gemstones support renovations, and Titan Blood is tied to weapon development.

02 / 03

Put it into practice

Identify the next unlock you personally value before spending. A resource that appears often in your early runs may still be worth saving for an important progression option, while a rare weapon currency should not be used without checking its purpose.

  1. 01Name your next upgrade
  2. 02Check its resource type
  3. 03Avoid confusing currencies
  4. 04Revisit after unlocking new options

Common mistake to avoid

Not every currency buys damage directly. Mixing permanent upgrades, cosmetic improvements and narrative unlocks can lead to confusing expectations.
