Command reference
/give adds items to an inventory. Java 1.21.5+ supports data components for item names and enchantments; Bedrock uses different components.
/summon spawns entities. Try ~ ~1 ~ for one block above your current position.
/tp moves a target to coordinates. Use @p for the nearest player.
/fill changes an area; check the corners to avoid modifying the wrong region. Destructive commands cannot be undone by Volpedia.
All computation happens in your browser. A shared URL includes the selected command fields, so avoid inserting private information.
Minecraft Java vs Bedrock commands
Both editions support basic item, teleport, summon and fill commands, but advanced component syntax differs. In Java 1.21.5 and newer, text components use the SNBT format and item components use square brackets. Bedrock uses a different argument model, so Java enchantment and custom name components are never inserted into Bedrock output.
Are generated Minecraft commands guaranteed to work?
No. They must match your game version, permissions, item IDs and settings. Volpedia validates the input format but cannot check what your particular world, server or modpack supports. Use small safe tests before running destructive fill commands.
How to use the generated Minecraft /give command
Enable cheats or have the required server permissions, select the correct edition above, choose your item and target, click Copy command, and paste it into the game chat. For Java custom names and enchantments, select Java Edition 1.21.5+.
