01

Overview

An officially announced Mega Evolution among the extra content highlighted for Mega Dimension.

02

How it works

Mega Chimecho is a special form of Chimecho, and only Pokémon with a compatible Mega Evolution can use a matching stone. It changes the way you plan important fights, but Z-A still uses real-time movement and move timing.

03

How to play

First understand the base Pokémon’s type matchup, attack range and cooldowns; then consider whether the Mega transformation creates an advantage in a specific fight. Compare the opponent rather than deciding from design alone.

04

Mistakes to avoid

Treat its presence as DLC-specific unless a separate in-game source confirms otherwise.

IN-DEPTH GUIDE

Go further: Mega Chimecho

01

Battle focus

Mega Evolution can be decisive when it is activated during a favorable opening. Train with the base form first so unfamiliar movement or recovery patterns do not ruin that opening.

02

Where it belongs

Review the main Mega Evolution guide for the universal system, plus the DLC guide when this form is associated with Mega Dimension.
