How it works
The first Nectar gift often grants a Keepsake. Early in the game, prioritize collecting versatile options before pouring every resource into only one relationship.
Practical strategy
If you only need a mechanical Keepsake list, you can avoid late-family revelations. Save detailed epilogue explanations until you have played through the main story chapters.
Common mistake to avoid
Do not treat one particular boon or drop as guaranteed; adapt the guide to the run you receive.
Complete Relationship and Keepsake Guide
Start with broad friendships
The first Nectar gift often grants a Keepsake. Early in the game, prioritize collecting versatile options before pouring every resource into only one relationship. Practical check: before the next escape, identify the one action or resource that will make this step easier. The best guide is one you can test room by room, rather than a fixed sequence that depends on random rewards.
Talk between escape attempts
Dialogue triggers often depend on conversations and major events across multiple runs. Keep checking the House, gods and region NPCs instead of assuming a favor is broken. In a real run, watch for the exact moment when this plan stops being comfortable: an enemy projectile, an unfavorable chamber reward or a poor health total. That point tells you whether to change positioning or build direction.
Follow individual stories
Achilles and Patroclus, Orpheus and Eurydice, and Sisyphus each have their own progression threads. Returning to their respective encounters can move story conditions forward. Try this deliberately on your next attempt, without also changing weapon and Mirror setup at the same time. Keeping other variables stable makes the result easier to judge and helps you learn what worked.
Unlock Companions carefully
Companion summons are later rewards after developing the relevant relationship. Once acquired, their timing and use limits make them tactical tools rather than passive always-on benefits. If the encounter becomes risky, first preserve an open path to safety. There is rarely a reason to sacrifice an entire Death Defiance just to complete one more attack animation during a dangerous telegraph.
Protect narrative discovery
If you only need a mechanical Keepsake list, you can avoid late-family revelations. Save detailed epilogue explanations until you have played through the main story chapters. Before leaving the region, ask whether you gained combat consistency, permanent resources or useful narrative progress. Any of those makes the next run stronger, even when this particular escape does not succeed.
