How it works
Try all six Infernal Arms and notice what you can control. A weapon whose spacing you understand is often worth more than an expensive aspect you chose from a tier list.
Practical strategy
If an aspect repeatedly loses on one boss, ask whether the problem is setup time, weak crowd control or overexposure in melee. Select support boons accordingly rather than immediately abandoning the weapon.
Common mistake to avoid
Do not treat one particular boon or drop as guaranteed; adapt the guide to the run you receive.
Weapon Aspects and Titan Blood Investment
Unlock weapon variety first
Try all six Infernal Arms and notice what you can control. A weapon whose spacing you understand is often worth more than an expensive aspect you chose from a tier list. Practical check: before the next escape, identify the one action or resource that will make this step easier. The best guide is one you can test room by room, rather than a fixed sequence that depends on random rewards.
Learn the signature mechanics
Chiron marks targets for homing Special arrows, Hera loads Casts into shots, Zeus Shield changes the Special’s control zone, Hestia rewards deliberate reload shots, and Beowulf changes Cast delivery. In a real run, watch for the exact moment when this plan stops being comfortable: an enemy projectile, an unfavorable chamber reward or a poor health total. That point tells you whether to change positioning or build direction.
Budget Titan Blood
Use limited Blood to deepen a playstyle rather than scattering it across every aspect immediately. Many aspects change more than a number: they change the actions you should take. Try this deliberately on your next attempt, without also changing weapon and Mirror setup at the same time. Keeping other variables stable makes the result easier to judge and helps you learn what worked.
Practice in the Courtyard
Test dash patterns, charge windows, reloads and Special order against Skelly. Notice how an aspect changes timing before trying to fight Hades with it. If the encounter becomes risky, first preserve an open path to safety. There is rarely a reason to sacrifice an entire Death Defiance just to complete one more attack animation during a dangerous telegraph.
Review after real boss attempts
If an aspect repeatedly loses on one boss, ask whether the problem is setup time, weak crowd control or overexposure in melee. Select support boons accordingly rather than immediately abandoning the weapon. Before leaving the region, ask whether you gained combat consistency, permanent resources or useful narrative progress. Any of those makes the next run stronger, even when this particular escape does not succeed.
