Decide how you want to enter
A team that wants to cross open space needs a different route from a team holding a narrow doorway. Start by discussing where the first engagement should happen. Then ask whether the selected heroes can reach that position at roughly the same time.
Check who can help whom
A mobile attacker can leave the range or sightline of the teammates meant to support them. A defensive front line can also advance beyond the damage players holding an angle. Look for compatible positioning requirements before focusing on a special combo.
Have a second step
What happens if the first push fails? Agree on a place to regroup. Avoid turning a lost engagement into a sequence of isolated entries. Save at least one defensive resource for the point at which the opposing team responds.
Treat team-ups as conditional tools
Read the current description of the team-up you want to use. A character association in the comics is not evidence of an active gameplay synergy, and an older seasonal pairing may have changed. A special interaction is only useful if the players can execute it within their ordinary positioning.
Change one thing
When a composition struggles, identify the failure first: access, sustain, timing or target selection. Try a targeted adjustment and compare several fights. This checklist is editorial guidance, not a prescribed competitive composition or a statistical ranking.
