Minecraft pixel art generator
Turn a photo, drawing or icon into a buildable Minecraft block mural. Upload an image privately, select its width and material palette, then download the block plan.
Convert your image into Minecraft blocks
Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP, or use the sample pattern. Each colored cell becomes a Minecraft block. Transparent pixels remain empty. The image does not leave your browser.
Your block-by-block pixel art
PNG is a visual plan; CSV records each block coordinate and block ID. This is not a .schem, .litematic or ready-to-import world file.
Privacy: image files are read by your browser and are never sent to Volpedia. Material colors are simplified references, not official Minecraft textures, and vary in-game with lighting and texture packs. Independent fan-made tool.
How to build your pixel art
- Choose a clear image and a width of 8–128 blocks. Smaller simple icons generally translate more cleanly than detailed photographs.
- Choose concrete for crisp solid colors or wool for an alternative block family. The preview uses flat approximate color swatches, not extracted game textures.
- Export the PNG to keep an overall reference. Export CSV to see a row-by-row list of 0-based X/Y coordinates and block identifiers.
- Gather the displayed block totals, leave space for a scaffolding structure, and build left to right by row.
What about schematics and the color match?
This tool exports a printable image and coordinate list. It does not export a Litematica file, schematic or Minecraft world save, and there is no server-side converter. Closest-color matching uses approximate palette RGB values, with optional dithering. Texture packs, lighting and color management can change how the finished artwork looks.
