Original editorial profile · Reviewed Oct 27, 2026Plan your utility before committing. You are most effective when teammates tell you exactly when they need a smoke, stun or pull.
Place stars at likely choke points early, hold enough utility for a second wave and coordinate activations with the player taking first contact.
What each ability does and when to use it in a real match.
Turn a star into a pulling field to dislodge defenders or delay a push. Pair it with a teammate’s damaging ability.
Trigger a concussive pulse after a short setup. It is strongest when someone can swing as the effect lands.

Deploy a large map-wide barrier to divide space and reduce the angles the team must contest.
Astral Form lets Astra place Stars from a tactical view; the Stars are the resource behind several abilities.
Cosmic Divide can isolate a bomb site or make a retake safer, but it cannot replace checking corners and communicating which side teammates will hold.
Do not spend every star on a speculative opening; without follow-up information, the team can run out of cover at the crucial moment.
