ORIGINAL VOLPEDIA / FIVE CHAPTERS

Weapons and the 2.0 amplification system: complete guide

01

Pick by role

Choose a practical gun based on expected range, recoil, ammunition and how quickly you can replace it. A valuable gun may be a poor choice for an unfamiliar map. When a historical recommendation mentions an attachment removed by patch 2.0, inspect your weapon bench rather than attempting to recreate a combination the game no longer supports. Your materials are better spent on upgrades you can actually maintain after a loss.

02

Patch-era weapons

Frozen Trail added Bantam and Stiletto and moved Anvil to a different rarity. Avoid basing weapon picks on obsolete rarity-only rankings.

03

Understand amplification

Weapon Amplification provides branching upgrades and some choices block others. Read exact in-game prerequisites and exclusion tooltips before spending materials.

04

Repairs and replacement

A good kit is one you can maintain for several raids. Compare upgrade and repair opportunity costs with the expected gain in the particular fight you plan.

05

Test without overcommitting

Use practice-friendly routes and cheaper loadouts to learn control and firing rhythm. Only make expensive upgrades once a weapon consistently fits your playstyle.
