Mistakes to avoid

VOLPEDIA / ORIGINAL MULTI-CHAPTER GUIDE

Anti-eco round strategy: step-by-step

01

Respect the economy swing

The opposing team can turn inexpensive pistols into valuable rifles if your team takes isolated fights. The aim is to convert the round with weapons intact.

02

Favor rifle ranges

Position where your primary weapons have a distance advantage, avoiding close stacked corners without utility. Have a teammate cover the shortest approach so a pistol player cannot surprise you during a reload.

03

Use information and patience

Do not five-man chase a single pistol sound; preserve map control, communicate bomb pressure and hold team trade angles.

04

Keep recoverable rifles safe

Avoid gifting a rifle in a place where an opponent can pick it up before the main engagement. Call a lost gun immediately and decide whether the team can safely contest the pickup; never donate another rifle in a rushed retrieval.

05

Review financial impact

After conversion, assess not only the round win but which guns and grenades survived to make the next round economically stable.
