01

Overview

A fast boss with a Beast Clergyman phase followed by aggressive airborne attacks.

02

How it works

Maliketh inflicts special HP-reducing damage and demands controlled healing opportunities.

03

How to approach it

Use pillars to create safer spacing where possible and learn his landing recovery.

04

Common mistakes

Do not heal in open space immediately after the first sword animation.

ORIGINAL VOLPEDIA WALKTHROUGH

Maliketh, the Black Blade: step by step

01

Two different combat rhythms

The initial Beast Clergyman form is more grounded and often throws projectiles. The second phase is much faster and includes aerial movement plus dangerous black-blade hits.

02

Surviving destined-death attacks

Some hits reduce maximum HP temporarily as well as dealing damage. Pay attention to where Maliketh lands after airborne sequences instead of rolling blindly at every visible effect.

03

Using the environment

The pillars can help break line of sight and create room to reset position, but they do not guarantee safety from every attack. Learn a specific post-landing window and keep your punishes short.
