How it works
Wretched Witches force projectile movement; melee shades teach attack recovery. Clear the most disruptive threat first and leave yourself room for the next dash instead of dodging into a wall.
Practical strategy
Leave Tartarus with your core combat loop functional and enough health to learn lava positioning. Even a clean Fury victory is only one stage of the escape, so do not spend all survival resources just to end it a few seconds sooner.
Common mistake to avoid
Do not treat one particular boon or drop as guaranteed; adapt the guide to the run you receive.
Tartarus and Fury Boss Walkthrough
Read early enemy signals
Wretched Witches force projectile movement; melee shades teach attack recovery. Clear the most disruptive threat first and leave yourself room for the next dash instead of dodging into a wall. Practical check: before the next escape, identify the one action or resource that will make this step easier. The best guide is one you can test room by room, rather than a fixed sequence that depends on random rewards.
Choose useful early rewards
A core Olympian Attack or Special boon helps you build a damage plan. Darkness and Keys are valuable for future attempts. Select a Centaur Heart when a few extra hits would keep the route alive. In a real run, watch for the exact moment when this plan stops being comfortable: an enemy projectile, an unfavorable chamber reward or a poor health total. That point tells you whether to change positioning or build direction.
Fight Megaera cleanly
Let her commit to a whip or rush before advancing. Circle around hazards and use dash openings for a brief counterattack. Resist the temptation to finish a full melee combo when the arena fills with projectiles. Try this deliberately on your next attempt, without also changing weapon and Mirror setup at the same time. Keeping other variables stable makes the result easier to judge and helps you learn what worked.
Adapt to Alecto and Tisiphone
Alecto increases pressure as rage builds; Tisiphone changes the available space. The same broad movement path that worked in an early Megaera encounter may fail when the edges become more dangerous. If the encounter becomes risky, first preserve an open path to safety. There is rarely a reason to sacrifice an entire Death Defiance just to complete one more attack animation during a dangerous telegraph.
Prepare for Asphodel
Leave Tartarus with your core combat loop functional and enough health to learn lava positioning. Even a clean Fury victory is only one stage of the escape, so do not spend all survival resources just to end it a few seconds sooner. Before leaving the region, ask whether you gained combat consistency, permanent resources or useful narrative progress. Any of those makes the next run stronger, even when this particular escape does not succeed.
