Festival Calendar and Seasonal Tasks: detailed walkthrough
Spring priorities
The Egg Festival is especially relevant to Strawberry Seeds and occurs while the season is still underway. Prioritize seeds only if you can plant and harvest within the remaining days. Other spring events can affect conversations and available shops.
Summer priorities
The Luau and Dance of the Moonlight Jellies provide distinct festival experiences. The 1.6 additions also expand fishing-related and desert activities; some require locations unlocked earlier in the story.
Fall priorities
The Stardew Valley Fair and Spirit’s Eve bring seasonal games, rewards and character interactions. Autumn is also harvest-heavy, so leave adequate time for crop collecting before a late event.
Winter priorities
The Festival of Ice, Night Market and Feast of the Winter Star create winter activities. Fish availability and travel plans change, so a flexible calendar helps you take advantage of quieter farm days.
How to plan a day
Check festival notices and calendar ahead of time, water or harvest before travelling where appropriate, and account for altered shop schedules. Store any gift you want to bring before leaving the farmhouse.
