Plan vehicle use around depth limits, repair needs and the purpose of an expedition.

01 / 03

Understand the mechanic

Vehicles such as the Seamoth, Prawn Suit and Cyclops solve different mobility and exploration problems. Progression depends on unlocking the technology and building the components, then choosing upgrades suitable for the next biome.

02 / 03

Put it into practice

Before heading deep, compare planned depth with your vehicle's limits. Carry a realistic repair and survival plan. An expedition that reaches a destination but cannot return safely has not achieved its objective.

  1. 01Check the destination depth
  2. 02Review vehicle upgrades
  3. 03Plan energy and repair supplies
  4. 04Mark the way home
03 / 03

Common mistake to avoid

A vehicle does not provide unlimited safety or access to every cave. Account for terrain, energy and what happens if you must leave it temporarily.
