Heavy ARC boss preparation: complete guide

01

Define why you are fighting

Choose the fight for a quest, needed part or deliberate challenge rather than treating every large machine as mandatory. Do not calculate a raid plan based on alleged exact health values from an outdated community spreadsheet. Instead, assess whether your current weapon has enough ammunition and whether you have space to retreat after the boss changes its attack pattern.

02

Prepare specialized supply

Heavy ARC can consume substantial ammunition, healing and utility. Consider the post-2.0 explosive balance and inspect your equipped weapons.

03

Scout the arena

Look for cover, weak-point exposure windows, other Raider entry routes and a retreat direction before provoking the enemy.

04

React rather than tunnel vision

Watch current telegraphs instead of memorizing ancient glitch clips. Large ARC patterns and the Matriarch ranged attacks have received fixes.

05

Extract after the payoff

Once you have the required drop, the added risk of remaining near a loud event may outweigh its remaining loot. Leave with a real win.
