Skill tree after Frozen Trail: complete guide

01

Why older guides are stale

The October 2026 update revamped skills and rearranged key branch nodes. Screenshots or build calculators based on the previous layout may contain options that no longer exist. For mutually exclusive nodes, it can be useful to record the branch you selected and the gameplay problem it solved. This makes future respec decisions evidence-based instead of copying a fashionable build.

02

Start from a problem

Think about whether you frequently lose stamina, take unnecessary damage or cannot carry enough supplies. Spend toward a problem you actually experience.

03

Branch exclusivity

Some mid-branch nodes force a binary choice; other end choices are limited. Review blocked alternatives before committing, especially after a respec.

04

Test on real raids

A mobility upgrade that feels powerful in an open area may not help in dense urban combat. Give the build several ordinary runs before judging its value.

05

Revisit as updates arrive

Embark has indicated ongoing tuning after the overhaul. Treat a build as current and revisable, not a permanently verified meta.
