How it works
This original five-chapter guide explains inferno banana and site control through the real objectives, maps and decision-making systems of Counter-Strike 2. It distinguishes stable mechanics from dated Premier or balance information.
Practical strategy
Begin with respect banana as a timing lane; then work through coordinate early t information. Put the steps into practice one at a time before queueing ranked.
Mistakes to avoid
Do not copy old CS:GO lineups, assume a fixed matchmaking rotation or change five habits at once. Evaluate whether each step actually solves your round problem.
Inferno banana and site control: step-by-step
Respect banana as a timing lane
Banana on Inferno is narrow and highly sensitive to early grenades. Control gained there can force CT attention, but it does not guarantee a B plant.
Coordinate early T information
Use spacing to test whether defenders contested banana and avoid stacking in molotov fire. Regroup and preserve a flash for the final contact rather than spending every grenade in the first few seconds.
Keep CT options open
B defenders should use delay utility only when it meaningfully stops progress. A players watch apartments and short while considering whether banana noise is a deliberate fake.
Execute one site at a time
State whether the final hit goes A or B; if attackers rotate, carry the bomb safely. Players holding lurk routes should rejoin before the clock makes planting impossible.
Manage post-plant and retakes
After a B plant, spread for crossfires without chasing CT spawns. CTs should retake with a synchronized flash and decide whether a no-kit defuse fits the remaining time.
