Overview

A late mountain boss with large-area attacks and a vulnerable leg early in the encounter.

02

How it works

The battle changes after a cinematic transition and punishes tunnel vision on the camera.

03

How to approach it

Unlock the camera when needed and track giant rolls before chasing damage.

04

Common mistakes

Staying glued to the first-phase weak point throughout phase two is unreliable.

ORIGINAL VOLPEDIA WALKTHROUGH

Fire Giant: step by step

01

Mountain approach

The Fire Giant awaits late in Mountaintops of the Giants, near the Forge. Large hitboxes and the arena’s scale can make normal boss-camera habits unreliable.

02

First phase weak point

A leg weak point offers a clear early target. Track stomp and shield attacks, then strike after a long commitment. Torrent can help with distant repositioning depending on the phase and attack.

03

Second phase

The fight changes dramatically after the transition. Unlock the camera if it prevents you seeing fire hazards or rolling movements. Attack carefully from safe angles rather than remaining fixated on the first-phase target.
