Ginger Island Complete Route: detailed walkthrough

01

Restore Willy’s boat

After meeting the relevant Community Center or Joja progression condition, contribute repair resources to Willy’s boat. Opening the route is a later-game milestone rather than a mandatory first-year objective.

02

Explore and unlock regions

Search beaches, puzzles, buried clues and activities for Golden Walnuts. Use parrots to clear new routes, and avoid expecting all island areas or buildings to be open upon arrival.

03

Develop the farm

The island farm changes seasonal crop planning and allows specialized longer-running production. Balance travel time with the mainland greenhouse, animals and festivals. Bring useful supplies across when you establish a repeat harvest routine.

04

Challenge the Volcano Dungeon

Bring serious combat supplies before entering the volcano. The Forge supports advanced equipment progression, but its upgrades consume rare resources; understand the effect before spending.

05

Aim toward Qi’s room

Obtaining 100 Golden Walnuts grants access to Qi’s Walnut Room, but 130 exist across the island. The room contains challenging objectives and the Perfection Tracker—new goals rather than an abrupt end to the game.
