Overview
Understand the opening daily loop.
How it works
Understand the opening daily loop. Plan around season length, tool capacity and the objectives that matter to your save.
Practical advice
Protect a manageable seed budget while unlocking town, mines and fishing.
Mistakes to avoid
Buying every seed immediately can leave you without tool or backpack money.
Your First 28 Days: detailed walkthrough
Days 1–4: build a small farm
Clear only the tiles you intend to water daily. Plant the opening Parsnips and extra seeds in a compact grid, place chests near the farmhouse, and watch the energy bar. Walking a half-cleared field adds time but does not generate income. Begin talking to villagers as you learn their routines.
Days 5–10: learn several systems
The Mines open early in Spring, and Community Center discovery has its own conditions. Visit the mountain area to begin ore collection, practice fishing on manageable catches, and retain any items your Community Center may need. Check the calendar before planting a crop that might not finish by day 28.
Mid-Spring: capacity over speculation
A backpack upgrade, a tool improvement and a more reliable watering routine often give more flexibility than betting all money on one high-value harvest. Your Egg Festival seed purchase should reflect how many days remain in Spring. Save enough for food, tool repair plans and seasonal activities.
Last week: protect the next season
Review the last harvest date of every field. Unless a crop grows in more than one season, it will die when the season turns. Reserve gold to buy summer seeds on the first day, and decide whether mining, fishing or friendships should receive extra time. You cannot lose the game by finishing a spring objective later.
Checklist before Summer
Keep a spare chest with bundle ingredients, maintain enough wood and stone for your next building, and confirm which residents and fish you still want to pursue. A flexible plan beats repeating a fixed money route if your weather, farm layout or luck differs from a guide.
