Use a grappling hook to improve movement without treating it as a replacement for safe arena design.

01 / 03

Understand the mechanic

A hook can pull the player toward suitable surfaces and make vertical terrain easier to navigate. In early combat it helps correct positioning, especially where natural caves have narrow ledges.

02 / 03

Put it into practice

Before entering a boss fight, practice grappling between platforms and create escape space. A good route lets you dodge predictably instead of repeatedly grappling into hazards.

  1. 01Practice on safe platforms
  2. 02Create multiple escape routes
  3. 03Avoid hazardous grapple points
  4. 04Retest mobility before the boss
03 / 03

Common mistake to avoid

Hooks differ by acquisition and behavior. The fastest movement tool is not necessarily the easiest to control when learning a boss pattern.
