Loot priority and stash management: complete guide

01

Establish three priorities

Before loading, select the current quest object, the next upgrade material and one reliable recovery supply. This makes decisions easy when a container offers several unrelated items.

02

Value is contextual

Sale price is only one kind of value. A common component that finishes an important station upgrade can matter more than a rare collectible that you cannot currently use.

03

Account for replacement cost

Rare weapons and consumables protect future earning power. Keep enough stock for an inexpensive recovery kit, and do not empty the stash pursuing one exceptional loadout.

04

When to extract

Once your bag contains the materials required for your goal, the incentive to stay often declines. More loot adds potential reward but also more exposure to ARC and Raiders.

05

Sort after returning

Separate quest materials, crafting materials, surplus for sale and experimental items. Revisit this organization after major patches that alter recipes or reward systems.
