01

Overview

An early Shadow of the Erdtree remembrance boss with changing elemental effects.

02

How it works

Its animated body movement can obscure exact attack timing; elemental phases alter safe positions.

03

How to approach it

Watch attack effects and the end of large movements before closing distance.

04

Common mistakes

Do not chase damage beneath the boss without understanding camera obstruction.

ORIGINAL VOLPEDIA WALKTHROUGH

Divine Beast Dancing Lion: step by step

01

Early DLC test

The Dancing Lion is encountered in Belurat. It can be approached early, but the expansion’s Scadutree Blessing system makes exploring for fragments a practical alternative to endlessly retrying.

02

Read the body not the camera

Its shifting body shape can obscure tells. Give yourself a little room, learn the difference between an active attack and a transition, and avoid standing under the moving body when unsure.

03

Elemental phases

The boss changes elemental patterns during the fight, adding dangerous area coverage. Reassess where to stand after each shift. One clean opening after a committed animation is better than repeated blind attacks.
