How it works
This original Volpedia walkthrough breaks the route into five practical stages. Deepnest is deliberately unsettling, dark and maze-like. Buy the Lumafly Lantern if you expect dark passages, and secure a nearby bench. Spend surplus Geo before entering if you are not confident about retrieving your Shade after death.
Practical strategy
Some enemies guard their front and punish greedy melee attacks. Wait for the windup, step out, then punish during the open movement. Projectile enemies and ambushes make it dangerous to stop for Focus without checking the room.
Common mistake to avoid
Before crossing into another region, check which Stag, tram or surface connection you have opened. Deepnest rewards careful route planning over repeated blind exploration. Returning later with better movement can make some detours far less stressful.

Track room transitions
Many tunnels look similar. Use Cornifer’s map, your quill and distinctive landmarks to identify which side of the region you are on. When a branch becomes unsafe, turn back to a known junction rather than blindly continuing.
Manage optional boss pressure
Nosk and other side content can test your patience. Learn whether the arena gives you a safe place relative to the boss’s repeated charges. Avoid taking damage simply because the enemy is briefly offscreen.
