Use Sites of Grace as stable checkpoints and planning points while learning how the Lands Between connects.
Use Grace as an anchor
Sites of Grace are checkpoints where players can recover, manage several forms of progression and prepare for another attempt. Resting restores resources but also respawns many ordinary enemies.
Rather than following a long unexplained arrow on the world map, establish which Grace site is near your next objective and how to return. This makes repeated attempts shorter and less frustrating.
Balance discovery and risk
Explore nearby caves, landmarks and easier enemies when a major encounter feels too difficult. Bandai Namco’s beginner materials emphasize that exploration and strengthening your character are intended parts of progression.
Carry only the rune total you are willing to risk while learning a dangerous area, or spend it on a useful upgrade. A detour to learn a combat mechanic can be more productive than repeating the exact same failed boss rush.
- 01Find and activate a nearby Grace site.
- 02Note an optional route or cave for resources.
- 03Spend available runes intentionally before a risky attempt.
Review travel after each unlock
New equipment, movement options and travel knowledge can make previous regions easier to navigate. Revisit an earlier obstacle when you have a concrete change that could help.
Grace guidance indicates possible story directions; it does not turn every area into a strict linear corridor. You can explore alternatives rather than forcing the first difficult encounter you find.
