Understand what a Site of Grace restores, how to allocate flasks and when fast travel is unavailable.
What happens when you rest
Resting at a Site of Grace restores HP, FP and other status-related conditions, while refilling your sacred flasks. Many common enemies respawn afterwards.
This tradeoff is helpful to remember when planning a dungeon route: you regain resources, but a previous corridor may no longer be empty.
Configure flasks for your play style
Sacred flasks help recover health or focus points. At a Site of Grace you can distribute flask charges between healing and focus recovery when the option is available.
A spell-heavy character may need a different balance from a melee build. Adjust your allocation when a boss encounter shows that one resource is consistently running out.
Travel using discovered points
Sites of Grace you have discovered can be selected on the map for travel in situations where fast travel is allowed. Some locations or states restrict that convenience.
Use markers to remember unexplored paths and items that require stronger equipment. The map is an essential planning tool rather than only a display of terrain.
Do not confuse Grace with guaranteed safety
Resting does not make later encounters harmless. If enemies repeatedly overwhelm you between checkpoints, approach by stages and preserve enough resources to retreat.
When planning a dangerous area, remember which Grace you can reliably reach on foot if fast travel is temporarily blocked.
