Use the Molecular Analysis Machine to unlock useful technologies alongside main milestones.

01 / 03

Understand the mechanic

The MAM provides separate research trees triggered by materials and discoveries. Research can unlock practical tools, inventory improvements and alternative approaches that the HUB milestone sequence does not directly provide.

02 / 03

Put it into practice

Whenever you encounter a new resource, check whether it starts or advances a MAM tree. Keep a small sample before sending everything into production; some research decisions can remove a persistent bottleneck.

  1. 01Inspect newly discovered items
  2. 02Check research requirements
  3. 03Keep samples for analysis
  4. 04Prioritize a practical unlock
03 / 03

Common mistake to avoid

The HUB and MAM serve different progression paths. Ignoring research can leave useful upgrades unavailable even after major factory milestones are completed.
