Understand how relics change the value of otherwise ordinary cards and routes.

01 / 03

Understand the mechanic

Relics are passive items gained through various events, enemies and other rewards. Their effects can shape combat timing, draw, energy or recovery, sometimes turning a modest card into a strong choice in the right deck.

02 / 03

Put it into practice

After acquiring a relic, read its exact trigger and look for your next decision that can take advantage of it. The best route, card and shop purchase may change because of one new relic.

  1. 01Read the trigger
  2. 02Identify supporting cards
  3. 03Reassess your next shop
  4. 04Avoid forcing weak combos
03 / 03

Common mistake to avoid

A relic's value is not fully captured by a generic tier list: interactions with current cards, character and act matter more than reputation.
